I recently received feedback from a reader of "THE INVINCIBLE MAN" - that while he found the information therein invaluable he felt that the content was somewhat "jumbled". He wasn't, he assured me, criticizing the content or the message, but the way the book was structured.
I appreciated his feedback and told him that I would keep his observation in mind for future publications. However I reminded him that "THE INVINCIBLE MAN" was not written as a novel or an end to end read to finish and put away, but is a training manual to be utilized much like one might use a workshop manual.
I hinted at that purpose (perhaps not strongly enough) in my preface to the manual when I wrote:
"Practical methods that I present in sort of an order, in such a way that you can take just one paragraph, or just one sentence, a word or an idea and then maybe, just maybe, a tiny light bulb goes off and - ka-ching! - that idea hits you right between the eyes and immediately you spend three minutes or an hour or all day training on your dummy, working on that idea and enjoying the doing!"
And also: "Pick one idea from either Beau’s list or from the among the ideas I have suggested and tattoo it across your forehead (if you are having trouble making a selection pin a list to a wall and throw a dart) and train that idea today. Pick another one tomorrow, then so on."
Your feedback on this one of a kind wooden dummy training manual is welcomed. Meanwhile, stay safe, enjoy your training. Kevin.
