Something I thought of after Judah got a haircut today . I wanted to share this with you all . 💕🧠

Understanding children's behavior and emotions doesn't necessitate a doctoral degree. I can recognize the differences between a mature and immature brain with ease.

Have you observed a child experiencing a 'meltdown' or 'throwing a fit'? As a parent of a three-year-old, I am well aware of the developmental stage where a child's brain is not yet fully mature, typically happening around the age of five. We adults can also become overstimulated, and when children's brains are in this state, logical thinking becomes unattainable. This means they don’t have the ability to think logically anymore ! Consistent exposure to a calm and logical parent during these moments of dysregulation can help children learn to regulate their emotions and thoughts more effectively.

Ex: I know this place is too noisy and your ears might hurt you. Let’s step aside from all this noise (picking up child ) (making them feel loved and safe)
