Come join us for a Valentine’s Day treat and share the love!

I'm so excited to announce that Destination TN Valley Events and I have teamed up to create a fundraiser for Riverside Coffee Shop on Valentine's Day to spread the love!

Elyse and I will be on-site from 9am-12pm so come buy a coffee or a pastry and hang out with us!

If you're not familiar with Riverside - they are serving coffee for a cause! Not only do they make delicious coffee, but they also support inclusive ABA training, empowering individuals with special needs.

Recently, they got the news that a majority of their funding has been cut, so now, more than ever, they need our community support!

Me laughing at how life turned out.

One year ago today I registered my LLC after almost 2 years of trying to do anything but have my own business.

I left my corporate job that I had once loved and thought I’d never leave and was trying to find my next step. I got my dream job offer and had it ripped out from under me days before I was supposed to start. I had the luxury of being able to take my time so I thought I’d look for the “perfect” next position. This soon turned into applying for whatever kind of sounded good.

I worked for a nonprofit that changed my view on incarceration. I worked for a small company that taught me so many business skills that I took with me. I ended up taking a Meeting and Event Planning Certification course through Belmont and at the end of it I realized, “wow, I really do know what I’m doing” and that gave me the confidence and clarity to finally do it on my own.

And here I am, one year later exactly and just landed a huge event!

Maybe life is actually laughing at me for finally listening!
