Hello! fans of music! Please reserve your time as the Renuka Sangeeth Sabha will hold its All Night Music Festival "SMRUTHI," 21st Anniversary in honor of Ganabhanu Pt. Arjunsa Nakod on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. in Ravindra Kalakshetra J. C. Road, Bangalore.

There will be instrumental jugalbandis, vocal solo and duet performances, as well as distinctive tabla solo performances, at this festival.

The Ganabhanu Pt. Arjunsa Nakod Gourav Puraskar will be awarded to Pt. B. S. Math famous Violin Artiste from Dharwad.

This is a composition written by *Sant Tukharama* describing the beauty ‘Lord Panduranga’ The Abhang is set to *Raag Maru Bihag* adding more color to the song!
We have K*m. Anagha Kalbag presenting this Abhang! Anagha Harish Kalbag’s talent was noticed at a very early age. She started her taleem under Vid. Ratna Sharma, picking up the nuances of the KIRANA GHARANA of Hindustani classical vocal music in the next eight years.
K*m. Anagha is currently continuing her training under Guruji Pt. Vishwanath Nakod while also learning Sitar from Sri Vijay Gonhalu. K*m. Anagha has also performed at several prestigious stages such as Sri Durga Parameshwari Temple (Kengeri), Paripoorna Sanatana Trust (Nelamangala), Panchamrutha Sugama Sangeetha Academy (Vidyaranyapura), and at many other esteemed forums. Anagha has participated in several inter-school/collegiate music competitions over the years. She took part in PRATHIBHA KARANJI, the prestigious competition conducted by the Government of Karnataka, wherein she was awarded several prizes and certificates. She also performed at ALL INDIA RADIO under Children’s Section, with her recital being aired in March 2014. She won the Karnataka State Scholarship from Sangeetha Nritya Academy in 2017. She also won Second place in the AIR All-India Music Competition in Hindi Bhajan category in 2018.

On the occasion of Guruji’s birthday, We are blessed to begin the “VISHWANAADA” series with Guruji Pt. Vishwanath Nakod’s rendition of “Naa Ninagenu Beduvudilla” a popular Dasa Sahitya in Raag Mishra Pilu!
Pt. Vishwanath Nakod Hails from a legendary family of Musicians, The Third Son Of Late Pt. Arjunsa Nakod, Renowned vocalist of the Gwalior and Kirana Gharana. Guruji began his Tabla journey under the guidance of Pt. VeerannaKamkar of Hubli, Later took rigorous training under his elder brother, Pt. Raghunath Nakod, one of India’s finest Tabla maestros. He was guided by his father in Hindustani Classical Vocals and seeked Light Classical Vocal training under Late Pt. Vasanth Kanakapur.

Guruji has toured several countries like USA, Gulf, Africa, Spain as a performing artist and has accompanied notable artists like Pt. Basavaraj Rajguru, Begum Parveen Sultana, Ustad Shahid Parvez, Pt. Venkatesh K*mar and many others.

He is an A grade artist in Tabla as well as in Light Music under Devotional, Bhavageethe and Vachana category. He is well known for his unique Concept of " Tabla Panchak" and "Saptak" And The Mastermind of "SMRUTHI". He has also trained several students in Tabla, Light Music, Instrumental Presentations, all of which will be posted on this page in the coming months!

*Vishwanath Nakod Swaralaya Foundation* is an organisation promoting and providing a performance platform to the students of Renowned Vocalist and Tabla Maestro Pt. Vishwanath Nakod.

Through this, we aim to demonstrate our RSS students representations of various compositions in Tabla, Vocal, and Instrumental music and publish it on social media.

We have planned to record each student’s presentation and release a series of compositions which have been taught by Guruji on the Swaralaya Foundation social media handles.

We plan to release the first video by Guruji on 14th July 2020 (Tuesday)
