We have selected 2 cheeses that were directly imported from Italy by Bottega to help keep a true authenticity of our Saluti Italian menu.

The Gorgonzola Dolce comes from Lombardy, Italy. It is aged 2-3 months, giving a mild and sweet flavour.

The Occelli that is wrapped in chestnut tree leaves to mature is quite unique as it is aged for 18 months in caves at Valcastto, Italy. With a blend of cow's and sheep's milk, you will be surprised by the flavour produced!

To make you feel like your are in Italy, we have worked into our wood oven catering menu some amazing items. Our most popular flavours are the Truffle oil and Sicilian Anchovies.
We are working a seafood style pizza with a pomegranate balsamic glaze (Keep an eye out) into our menu to absolutely suprise your taste buds.

Something different today, exploring out and about in the Adelaide Hills picking mushrooms.
We were at Kuitpo Forest (about 35 mins from the CBD up the South Eastern Freeway) picking Slippery Jack mushrooms.
I Did a bit of research before we went and got lucky finding an area that had so many in plain sight. Was a great experience and picked about 8 buckets full in under 2 hours and still left lots behind.
Looking forward to the next full moon to go again.
