Tips for a successful cocktail hour: 🥂

✨ Have a seperate bar for the cocktail hour with *limited options*! We are looking for fast, easy service so that people can get their hands on a drink quickly! Open bar comes later in a different location.

✨Offer some kind of food! (If you are a UT queen like me, it’s required bc of alcohol laws😝) My favorite option? Charcuterie of course! It’s a crowd pleaser, can feed lots of people, and can be prepared ahead of time so it’s ready when you are.

✨Music Music Music! If you have a live musician for the ceremony, hire them for an extra hour! If not, ask your DJ to play some background music! It sets the scene and creates an awesome vibe 🎶

3 Tips for planning a winter wedding ❄️

1- Always have a backup plan! (Or 2) 😉
Especially if you want a dreamy, winter outdoor ceremony! A soft snowfall is great, but if happens to be a blizzard that day, make sure you have a Plan B!

2- Plan for less Daylight!
The sun sets earliest in the winter, so make sure you plan your photo schedule accordingly if you want daylight photos! 📷

3-Advise your guests (and yourself) to dress accordinly!
& maybe even brings extra shoes and a coat! We can’t risk ruining those wedding shoes walking through the snow to get into the venue. 🥶
