Just my two cents because this is a big hit:
Yes, we see people exposed for things in the scene almost yearly now but, let’s be thankful that we rally together to do what is, and to make things, right. All we can do is our best to show we won’t tolerate it. Unfortunately, the world is filled with people that aren’t great. This community does what it can to protect and preserve the good that’s in it, and that’s something positive we can focus on right now.

Just released probably the best track I've made in the past year to Soundcloud, and once I can figure out their distribution system it'll be on Spotify as well. 😅

I really love this one. It's called "Sound Of My Mind" because it's the first time I had an idea for a song in my head and was able to execute everything exactly the way I pictured it. Not to mention the vocals came out great. I think so at least. Lmk what you think!

Playing my first set with original tracks this weekend! This feels like the first next step. I started mixing about three years ago and the second I tried it, I knew I wanted to play my own music. That decision started me on a two and a half year long journey to learn music production. Recently I almost got discouraged because I started focusing on the next leg of the journey, the “what’s next,” without celebrating how far I’ve come in such a short time. I was completely ignoring the fact I get to play my own tracks out this weekend, all because I started learning about brand identity and social media marketing strategies. That can wait though. That’s the next step. Right now, I’m going to let myself be happy, and work on realizing that I actually did the thing.

I can make music now 😁

I don’t know how he has made himself Master; perhaps he has eaten something sublime.
He keeps his rooms clean for me.
In his paws he carries a sharp black claw and he scratches with it on white sheets of paper. That is the only game he plays. He sleeps at night instead of by day, he cannot see in the dark, he has no pleasures. He never thinks of blood, never dreams of hunting or fighting; he never sings songs of love.
Often at night when I can hear mysterious and magic voices, when I can see that the darkness is all alive, he sits at the table with his head bent and goes on and on, scratching with his black claw on the white papers. Don’t imagine that I am at all interested in you. I am only listening to the soft whispering of your claw. Sometimes the whispering is silent, the poor dull head does not know how to go on playing, and then I am sorry for him and I meow softly in sweet and sharp discord. Then my Man picks me up and buries his hot face in my fur. At those times he divines for an instant a glimpse of a higher life, and he sighs with happiness and purrs something which can almost be understood.
But don’t think I am at all interested in you. You have warmed me, and now I will go out again and listen to the dark voices.

Just want to say thanks to everyone who’s been sharing my music and took a listen to the new track! It’s pretty wild having my friends and people I love telling me they love what I’m making. If you have an artist friend, and you like their stuff, go tell them. There’s really no better feeling than hearing that the people you hold in your world, love the things that you’re putting into theirs’. And while we should all make things that make us happy just because, sometimes hearing that those things make others happy can push us to be even more inspired.

Thinking I’m going to drop these last two tracks and then take a break from producing for a little while. I’ve spent around 8 hours a day, almost every day, for the past two years, learning music production. Honestly, because I wanted to be able to make music and share art with my artist friends. I just want to make good music, and I’ve gotten so much support from my friends lately that I feel I can finally stop pushing so hard. I feel like I’ve arrived at where I wanted to be.
