The groom’s father had the perfect surprise planned for his gorgeous wife during the Pithi Ceremony! He got down on one knee and proposed to her and the two were overjoyed with emotions all over again. Not to mention how surprised she was! Parents like this are a true representation of love!

This past Christmas Eve, Harsh proposed to Roma at the Biltmore Estate. She thought they were on their annual trip with a close couple friend. Little did she know that everyone had a different goal in mind for this trip. Congratulations to such a sweet couple! This year has been a journey...one that I will always cherish when it comes to my Wedding Planning passion. I started 2020 thinking “this is my year!” just like many others. Unfortunately, when I kicked off Events by Parina, we got hit with COVID-19. I used the time to my advantage and really planned what I want my business structure to look like. I thought about how I can stand out from the many others planners out there. Now I’m happy to say, with a new brand that really differentiates me from others, I am launching Lal Dupatta Events!

How did I come up with the name: honestly, I was listening to the sappy Bollywood song from Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (one of my all time favorite movies!) and decided...THIS IS IT!

I can’t wait to finish the year strong with the events coming up! I have been lucky to be one of the few that has been booking clients! Thank you to everyone for getting me to this point!
