A friend in a charcuterie group posted this photo comparing a single serving appetizer price at a known chain restaurant and it really solidified my confidence in my skills and pricing model.
So… Join us as we take you through the journey of booking, planning, setting up, shopping, and breaking down a grazing table, all from our perspective! 💪🏼
1. Booking and Planning 🗓️:
✨ The process begins with clients reaching out to us, expressing their desire for a grazing table at their event. We engage in detailed discussions to understand their vision, guest count, dietary preferences, and event theme. This step is crucial in ensuring we create a customized grazing table that exceeds their expectations. ((On average, 1/13 clients book. ))🤝
2. Menu Creation and Ingredient Selection 🍴🌽:
🧐 Crafting the perfect grazing table menu requires careful consideration and creativity. We brainstorm ideas, curate a diverse selection of cheeses, charcuterie, fruits, vegetables, dips, and other delectable items. We meticulously sources high-quality ingredients, considering seasonality and local availability. 🛒🌿
3. Setting Up and Styling 🎨✨:
🎉 On the day of the event, our team arrives early to set up the grazing table. We carefully select linens, tableware, and decorative elements that complement the event theme. With an artistic eye, we arrange the ingredients, ensuring a visually stunning and accessible display. This step demands precision and creativity to create a captivating centerpiece. 🎊🌸
4. Shopping and Preparation 🛍️🔪:
🚗 Our team embarks on a shopping adventure, visiting various suppliers and markets to gather the freshest and most unique ingredients. We take pride in sourcing local and artisanal products, ensuring the highest quality for our clients. Back at our kitchen, we meticulously prepare and slice the ingredients, garnishing them to perfection. Prep time takes on average 3 hours per 50 people. 🍇🧀🥖
5. Breakdown and Cleanup 🧹🧺:
👋🏼 As the event comes to an end, our team diligently breaks down the grazing table. We carefully pack any remaining food, ensuring proper handling and disposal of perishable items. We clean and sanitize the tableware, linens, and any other equipment used, leaving the venue spotless. 🧼🌿
