Looking for a wedding venue can be overwhelming, especially if you’re not sure which questions to ask! Hiring a certified wedding planner that will be there with you through it all is the best way to ensure a stress-free venue search ✨Here are some things we ask when shopping for a venue! 1️⃣ How many guests can the venue accommodate? You don’t want to choose a venue that can only accommodate 50 people with a guest list of 2002️⃣ What time can setup begin? Some venues allow you to set up the day before, while others only allow you access on the day of the wedding. It’s important to know these details so you can relay that information to your vendors! 3️⃣ Are tables, chairs, and linens included in the cost of the venue rental? If so, how many and what types are available? If you’re planning to use round tables for your guests and farm tables for your head tables, it’s important to know this early so you can plan to rent tables elsewhere. 4️⃣ Who is the contact person? Is there an on-site coordinator that will collaborate with your wedding planner? 5️⃣ Does the venue require you to use certain vendors? 6️⃣ Is there a place for the bridal party to get ready? This saves a ton of time so you don’t have to travel between a salon and the venue. 7️⃣ Who is responsible for cleaning up, and when are you required to have your things removed from the venue? Some venues allow you to clean up the next day, while others require you to have everything out that night. These are just a few of the things we ask when attending venue meetings!
