Exciting news… this year’s pageant will be held at the newly remodeled gymnasium at the beautiful Rolling Hills Conference Center & Campground in Calera on June 29th!

Miss Summertime 2023
⭐️Ages 0-6 will begin at 10:00 and run until around 12:00.
⭐️Ages 7+ will begin shortly after, approximately 12:30
Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your stage time.

⭐️BRING YOUR PHOTOGENIC PICTURE!!

⭐️People’s Choice voting will open Wednesday at 8:00am and close on Saturday at 10:00am for 0-6 and at 12:00 for 7+. $1 per vote to Cashapp, Venmo, or PayPal and MUST have contestants name listed!!

⭐️We will crown every 2 or 3 divisions, especially with babies and toddlers.

⭐️ONE female chaperone per contestant will be allowed in the dressing room

⭐️Doors will open to public at 9:30. Admission is $5 (only contestants and chaperones before 9:30am please)

⭐️Bring Charity Queen donations. There will be some volunteers to unload boxes from cars if need be. Please have a preliminary count of your items ahead of time (honor system) and we will do a quick re-count.

⭐️Park in the BACK parking lot of Collectivus Church. Do not try to park on Main Street (31) in Calera. That door will NOT be open as it would disturb the contestants on stage.

It’s almost here!!! Just a couple of announcements for this week:
⭐️Stage times will be emailed soon—be looking for that.
⭐️People’s Choice voting will open this Wednesday at 8:00am and close on Saturday at Noon. ($1 per vote to Venmo, PayPal, or Cashapp. Be sure your daughters name is included… share with your friends and family to get that People’s Choice Crown!)
⭐️if you still need hair and makeup, Amy still has availability… book with her now.

We’re getting close so I thought I’d do another Vendor Spotlight!!
We have 2 very talented ladies with us who will have Hair and Makeup appointments available.

⭐️ Jasmine Davis is the owner of Savvy Salon in Calera. This will be her second year to join us at Miss Summertime. Jasmine has openings for full Hair and Makeup, or even “touch-ups” if you had yours done hours ago and need a little sprucing up before you go on stage!

⭐️ Amy Hilliker comes to us from Tuscaloosa. She has been doing professional Pagrant Hair and Makeup for many years. She is also the mother of the newly crowned Alabama State Cinderella Teen, Rilee Hilliker! Amy has openings for full Hair and Makeup services.

MISS SUMMERTIME 2023!!!
Hey friends! It’s almost that time…We’re currently in plans for our 2023 pageant, and we’re so excited!
We are still working out details with the venue, but we are looking at a tentative date of July 15,2023. This may change when we finalize the venue, but this is our preferred date as of right now.
We already have secured more sponsors, more gifts, and more prizes for all of our beautiful contestants to make this year’s pageant better than ever!
(We will be offering our returning participants ages 0-8 a discount due to the missed awards in last years pageant.)

*PARADE ANNOUNCEMENT 📣📣📣
If you are riding in the parade Saturday, please be at Oliver Park no later than 5:15! The trailer will get there around 4:30, and you may come any time after that. We do not have a number yet, they just told us that someone will be there to direct you to our spot. You can tell them “Miss Summertime float.” We will pull out of the park at 5:45 to head toward the parade route along hwy 31.
Y’all may wear pageant dresses OR fancy Christmas dresses. Please bring 1-2 bags of candy per girl.

ATTENTION MISS SUMMERTIME WINNERS!
If you won ANY crown during the pageant and you would like to participate in the Calera Christmas parade on Dec 3rd, please comment or message me. We will have a float to ride on, but I want to make sure I have enough interest before I secure a spot in the parade. Need to know in the next few days please.

Just a reminder that I WILL be refunding the money for the ages 0-6 for the optionals that were mistakenly left out. I do hope you all understand human error and that nothing was intentional.
I hope you can also understand that pageants have a lot of post-pageant work as well, which I am still trying to wrap up. I also don’t do business on a Sunday, as that is my time for worship and with my family. Now that we have returned to a business day, I will get those processed as quickly as possible. I just want to make sure it goes to the correct people. I thank you for your patience and understanding
*and just a note: the refund amount will be $10, which was the amount paid for optionals.
