The Art of Re-Gifting
Dig Deep Gardens
19028 Vashon Hwy
Sat. Dec 2nd
6:30pm

Indulge in the joy of giving and make someone else's day by joining us for an extraordinary re-gifting event. Discover the hidden treasures you no longer need, as they could be the perfect gift waiting to bring happiness to someone else's life.

In a world where we accumulate so many beautiful things, it's only natural that our tastes change over time. What may have once delighted us can now bring joy to others. Let's spread that happiness together at our re-gifting celebration!

Explore a wide array of gently used items that have been carefully curated by fellow gifters. From jewelry and accessories to homeware and books. Connect with Like-Minded Givers: Engage with a community of passionate individuals who understand the value of thoughtful gifting. Embrace the opportunity to reduce waste and promote sustainability. By giving unwanted items a second life, we create a more mindful and eco-friendly approach to gifting, preserving the beauty of both material possessions and our planet.

Together, let's celebrate the sentiment behind re-gifting – the chance to gift again, . Your previously cherished belongings are yearning for a new chapter in their story, so bring them along and help us build a bridge of shared happiness.

Please ensure that all donated items are in good condition, clean, and suitable for gifting.

Save the date, invite your friends, and prepare to uncover a world of wonders at our re-gifting event. We cannot wait to witness the smiles and gratitude that result from this unique gathering!

Walter & Donny
Dig Deep Gardens
19028 Vashon Hwy SW
Saturday, 10/28
7pm

Walter and Donny perform Cosmic Americana -- a mix of Americana pop songs blending in an alt-country feel and elements of space-rock. You might hear elements of classics like The Beatles or The Allman Brothers or The Byrds emerging from their songs. But you will always hear their strong and welcoming melodies weaving the same kinds of stories and themes that make our mutual lives together compelling and beautiful: stories of family, unrequited love and the feeling of being alive on a reflective Tuesday afternoon.

Vashon Witches Paddle
Sunday, October 29th, 11am-1pm

3rd Annual Vashon Witches’ Paddle! Bring your paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, rowboats - whatever! - and don your best witchy outfits 🧙🏻‍♀️ Last year, we even had folks make their paddles look like brooms and create a floating, smoking cauldron! You’re invited to come watch and cheer on witches if you aren’t comfortable paddling.

This event is ALL AGES! Please be responsible for your own safety measures like PFDs, adult supervision for your littles, hydration, etc.

We’ll meet at Jensen beach at 11a and hopefully get on the water around 11:15-11:30! End time is flexible. T-shirt ordering will be available soon, and will include round-ups and a donation button for this year’s fundraiser. Last year, we raised $200 to split between Vashon Youth and Family Services and the Vashon Senior Center!
In the event of high winds like in 2021, the alternate location will be Raab’s Lagoon - watch for updates day of if weather seems iffy.

She will tell us about their work and share some stories from recent visits to the Pacific Islands of Vanuatu and Papua New Guinea and the communities they are working with to overcome neglected diseases. Come, learn and share in some fascinating work and unique cultures showing how working together we can overcome some of the world’s greatest health challenges.

Hey friends. Fentanyl is a gigantic issue right now. I’m flying down to NM, joining a fantastic lineup, to be part of this because I have to. Please share if you know anyone in the northern NM area. This will affect your life and the more energy we put into gaining awareness and traction the better equipped we are to mitigate the effects.
