Yo!

Aavikko is all about good times with bad friends and making memories! Like the one pictured above. That's dr. Harms and his infamous Jytäsamovaari.

That's why everything is free for you.

We will serve some food and drinks to anyone as long as it lasts. Good ole roadkill burgers, ofcourse. You can cook your own food over fire too. Bring some drinks and maybe some water too, cause the desert sun can be scorching.

You can sleep under the stars or take a tent with you, what ever you prefer. There's even a lake to swim in. Remember to respect mother nature or prepare to die you piece of s**t!

Don't know how to get here? Follow the smoke, silly! Or ask. For the way. Or a ride. Or anything.

Such a vast number of such dope bands have contacted us and asked if they could perform at Aavikko. It really humbles us how many are interested in this scene and wanna join us, sacrifice their time and effort to give us piece of their art.

We would love to have you all and the picture kinda shows how we feel like to have to turn all the great bands away... that's not how we want you to feel about us!

We usually book bands in Jan-Feb. If you wanna perform in Aavikko, don't hesitate to DM us. We don't mind if you are big or small. If we dig you, we want you!

By the way that bird flipper with the attitude is .dut and she does badass old school tattoos . Check her work and go get some ink!

Hey all!

Very soon we are gonna announce all the great bands joining Aavikko family this year. Stay tuned for more!

In this picture you can see Olli doing sonic magic s**t. Last year was kind enough and offered to help us in any way. They shouted out that we are looking for a sound engineer and Olli answered the call.

Olli had to work with a way too small tech but made all the bands sound astoundingly big and badass. We are so glad to have him do his magic again this year!

Do you want to go to Aavikko but don't know how to get there? Need a ride?

If you need a ride or if you have room in your car post below. Help each other out so everyone can follow the smoke to the riff filled-land!

You can also take a bus from Turku. DM us for location. Don't be afraid to ask for help.

Aavikko IV is just around the corner and here's some basic info for you.

The schedule for bands:
17.00 King Coyote
18.30 Orbiter
20.00 Craneium
21.30 Demonic Death Judge
23.00 Green King

Drop in any time you want, you're always welcome. Aavikko is free for everyone.

We serve some food and drinks for you. Good old road-kill burgers just might be on the menu. You can also cook your own food by the fires. Grab along some beer for yourself too, maybe some water too.

You can sleep under the stars, or if you wish so, in a tent. Remember to respect the nature.

We are so excited to announce this!

The masters of fuzzy feels CRANEIUM and heavy weight sludgehammer DEMONIC DEATH JUDGE will crush the stage on 1st of July.

Grab a beer and check out all the bands in Spotify etc. This is gonna be so good!

The sandpeople behind the scenes:

This is , our loyal sound engineer by the grace of cosmos a.k.a the Sonic Wizzzard.

In the dawning of second Aavikko in 2019 I woke up pretty damn hungover (as in still drunk). I slept the night on the empty stage under the stars and when I woke up we started building the stage.

We didn't have sound engineer cause we had no money to pay one, so we were gonna do it all by ourselves. I soon realised I was fvcked cause all the gear was new and weird and I sure ain't no Sonic Wizzzard.

Luckily the mighty Dö came in and with them entered Osku to mix Dö. He saw my distress and suddenly we had a sound engineer who knew his s**t!

Osku has done the sounds for Aavikko II, Mustan Korpin Aavikko 2020 and Aavikko III. Thanks man!!
..also this year we are fvcked again. NOW HIRING SONIC WIZARD for Aavikko IV!!
