Don't buy or consume Parrot Fish, is the only way that we can do illegal caught is going on, and also, don't support fish markets and restaurants that offer this fish, they know this fish is caught with bad practices, and they don't care about our marine ecosystem preservation... but they do care about $... From many years ago, I don't serve Parrot Fish in my dinners... This fish is very important for our marine beautiful ecosystem!!!

Lo siento por los peces de loro! Sí, este pez puede ser comido, pero para nosotros los buzos este es un gran No No!!! Hay razones importantes por las que no debemos comerlos y debemos educar a los pescadores para que dejen de atrapar estos hermosos peces! Por favor, perdónalos... el océano necesita que se regeneren. Lee abajo para ser educado. Son muchos peces que puedes atrapar en el mar. Pueden vender y cocinar el otro pescado, pero dejar el loro!

Los peces loros comen algas y coral mu**to *. Pasan hasta el 90 % de su día mordisqueando. En otras palabras, limpian el arrecife. Esto es importante porque la mayoría de los arrecifes de los trópicos están siendo asfixiados por algas porque no hay suficientes peces loros y otros herbívoros ahí fuera pastoreando.

Después de todo lo que comes, escucha esto: Cagan arena blanca fina - mucho! Cada pez loro produce hasta 320 kilos de arena (700 libras) cada año.

Sus números están tan agotados, y los niveles de algas son tan altos, que no se pueden pescar de manera sostenible ahora mismo en cualquier parte del Caribe. Estos peces extravagantes, comedores de algas y arenosos necesitan ser dejados en el agua. Y cuando se dejan ahogar, hacen un trabajo brillante. Un nuevo informe masivo concluye que los arrecifes donde el loro era abundante en la década de 1980 son los arrecifes que están saludables ahora.

Hay una razón para su existencia, así que por favor no nos los comamos... A nuestro gobierno. Por favor, educad a nuestros pescadores... Di no a la captura de peces loros! No compremos pescado loro para que no los atrapen más.

XV seasons serving you 🥳🍾🍾🍾!!!
We just started our XV season serving dinners, making special nights and evocative experiences at your home in Loreto (rented or owned) 👨🏻‍🍳🍾🍷🥘🌶🌮🍝
When we started in 2009, there were no service like this in Loreto, then after some years, one more, and now, in our 15 season there are some options there... But, we are the originals, and for many, still the best option. Thanks for that!!!
We have served 2 people dinners and also +80 Wedding dinner, +80 Día de Mu***os dinners, +150 Open House appetizers. And also, we ran Andares, a pop-up restaurant at El Corazón Café, with more than 34 evocative menus during the season, and where non of the 136 courses was repeated 🇲🇽🇪🇸🇮🇹🇫🇷🇬🇷
It was not usual to find big celebration dinners for Día de Mu***os 💀🕯🥃🍋🧂🌮🎼🥁, now is more usual, but those that we created together with and at Las Cabañas Hotel, were really special, you can really felt our departed were there, because, the main reason to create those dinners was to honor them, not for business.
We are a family business, in fact a family-side-business, it doesn't represents our main incomes, and we can normally attend only 2 or 3 dinners per week, and we will keep it like that. I really think you need to enjoy cooking and serving people to have good results, we love to travel, and enjoy food, and so far, I love when people enjoy the food and the time relaxing at their home while we attend them, that was and still is the main idea of our service!!!
Besides my wife, Jenny, and the girls, that are essential part of this... we had Alma for more than 10 years as the main helper at dinners, until she leaves town. Piedad and Marisol that are helping this season, join the group for the first time 9 years ago... Again, I think you need to be in a good mood, and having special people in your team is essential, thanks to them and the other helpers that have joined us in special occasions!!!
Again thanks, to all those clients, specially those regulars, some have became friends, and some have us like part of their tradition when they came to Loreto, we will continue serving you, if you want to, we will continue enjoying this. 🥂

In 2013 we started with Entre Vivos y Mu***os Dinners, at the beautiful place, Hotel Las Cabañas with Jill and Richard Jackson, the combination was magical... with music, altar, good food, and lovely people from the two worlds!!! we remember those nights honoring our departed..., happy to see that this is becoming more popular in Loreto with local and foregins that now are locals too... Feliz Día de Mu***os !!! ❤💀🇲🇽🌶🕯🎻🥃
