Had a great night out with friends, came home to a clean house (they even mopped!!), they bought me flowers and then Dominic asked me if I wanted help processing the food we needed to get in the freezer. We put up 4 gallons of tomatoes, a quart of chopped jalapenos, a pint of pickled jalapenos, a quart of chopped green pepper and 2 bags of okra. He's the best helper!!!

Genensis 9:11-17

Tomato Hornworm with Bracnoid Wasp eggs on it so neat and creepy all at the same time. The wasps kill their host the tomato hornworm, which eats your tomato plants at a very fast rate! The wasps are good and they don't sting, I'm ok with them hanging around. We relocated this guy to the woods near the garden so the wasps have time to do their job.

We canned 14 jars of greenbeans last night. This was my first time canning in 10+ years. I canned a lot as a kid with my mom but had never canned anything since living on my own as an adult. Needless to say my mom was just a call away for all my questions (even till wee hours of the night) 🤣. Most of the jars and my pressure canner come from my grandparents house and I think my Grandma would be proud to see me using them!

Something attacked our kitten Magnolia two nights ago and our neighbor heard it and was able to interrupt before the kitten got hurt. The culprit returned lastnight and looked right into the camera!! Mr. Raccoon you are not welcome here, Go Away!! So far it hasn't seemed to mess with the chickens but they are locked up pretty good at night and now Magnolia will be too.
