Hannah & Ty were married four years ago today and I had the honor to make their wedding flowers. They came back to me for a recreation of her bouquet, but in all white for a photo shoot in her wedding gown.

Reflexing tulips

You too can try this tulip trick at home! 🌷 This is called reflexing. Also can be done on roses as well. Be sure to have your flowers at room temperature before reflexing their petals. This can help a flower take up much more real estate when needing to fill large designs areas.

About Us

My love of flowers began over two decades ago when I heard about a Floral Design Course in Chicago. It sparked my interest being an aesthetic person who loved all things inspired by nature. After completing the floral design class, I received my first job as a floral designer at a busy flower shop near my home. I learned so much working hands on there, and found it was my passion to design with flowers.

After being married and staying home with our four children until the youngest was in school, I tried several other career options, but ended up returning to the same flower shop many years later to work once again as a floral designer. Returning awoke my love of flowers and design. I made arrangements every day for funerals, weddings, events, everyday occasions, and prom.

My career took a turn when I had the honor of making floral arrangements for a friend’s wedding. Sharing in the intimate experience with her and her family and seeing the purpose of my work brought me a level of happiness that inspired me to take a big step. I asked my husband, why don’t I do this for myself and he said, you should! I love creating beautiful arrangements for weddings and personal occasions, while making my client’s vision of their special day come to life.

This brings joy to my soul and is truly my passion.
