This summer, I had the pleasure of creating a beautiful love story of a great co-worker of mine and her new wife.

I put the call out for the ultimate love song. I recieved some great submissions, but felt that this beautiful song by Kane Incognito was the perfect choice....and it was. Watching the intamite and loving actions between Sarah Lynn Jones and her wife to the soothing voice of Eric Kane Cherrington just mended perfect, in my eyes.

I know that this video is not perfect. It's not 100% seamless, and has a few shakey points. But its a learning curve for me. I've really enjoyed working on this, and I plan to work on more. So if anyone is interested in creating some new videos......let me know!

I've been waiting since the day they sang this, to post this song today!
Anything that these ladies do "reimagined", is simply phenomenal!
I've heard a few of their songs, but never had I heard this one. This song, for those who are unsure, is a collaberation with an artist called JNTHN STEIN and the original (Which can be found on Spotify) is definitately part of my "Eargasms" playlist on Spotify.

I think you should add this to your "late night activities playlist" on Spotify if you know what I mean *wink wink*

Well folks, take a seat.

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that we are no longer allowed to be in service. We received word from our landlord yesterday, that our conjoining neighbour has complained regarding the music. As of immediately, Live In The Loft is "on hold".

I just want to personally thank each and every artist that I had the pleasure of working with on this project. I have met some seriously talented people, and have made some really great friends.

I really am at a loss of words, as this was starting to be something that I was becoming very passionate about. I had bigger plans, and bigger hopes.

To all the artist that I have booked for 2020, I truly am sorry that we have to cancel. I really was looking forward to working with you. I really hope that at some point we can.

To the artists whom I've been talking to, but haven't booked anything concrete yet, I am truly sorry. Again, I was really hoping to work with you. Especially if it was myself that reached out to you. And I hope we still can.

To all of the artists who I've contacted, but haven't had a chance to get back to me..... Just ignore my email 😂

Now. I will continue to post the videos over time of the artists that I have already done, so you will still continue to see some content from us.

I don't even know where to begin with Sarah Smith Music

I've known Sarah for almost FIFTEEN years! I've photographed everything from her solo shows, shows from the days she was in The Joys (PopJoy if you're old), to even photographing promotional photos for her (The Joys).
Sarah has opened my eyes to new artists. Tara Holloway opened for her one year, and it's been one of the best discoveries, musically, in my life!

Sarah has just released a new album, "Unveiling". This is the first single from the album! Be sure to check out the rest of the album too!

Happy Sunday folks!

Here's one from our FIRST session in August with the talented Andrea! I had no idea what to expect, or what I was getting myself into......Well worth the leap! And I'm sure for Andrea, it was a bit unsettling, as we had no samples of what we did, no testimonials....and it was in some random dudes house? So glad she trusted me, and helped kick off this wonderful project! Enjoy this song, titled "Burden"!

Today would have been my grandmothers birthday, So I made sure that I listened to RIVAL SONS "Jordon", as it always make me think of her. I bet you $100 if the Rival Sons played that Live in the Loft, I would be a puddle of tears!

A lady that was always behind me in anything that I did. Always proud of my accomplishments. Irreplaceable. Happy Birthday Grandma! ❤️

It's been quite a year, this 2019. I don't even know where to start!

This year was our first year, as we ventured into something fresh and new to us. We had no idea what the outcome was going to be, and quite frankly, we were pretty effin scared!

I took on this project, hoping to have some great local talent stop by, but instead we got an array of great musicians from all over! A pair even traveled from out of province!

I've been blessed with such talent. All different types of music. And all types of instruments! We've seen ukuleles, harmonicas, steel guitars, keyboards, box drum, bass drum and of course a really loud tambourine 😂

Apart from the music, I've also gained some great friendships. Ones that are still continuing to grow. Ones also creating other opportunities for new projects!

As we head into 2020, we already have some great talent lined up for January! We have also been talking to some great artists who are in a different style of music than anyone who has been on! And it's super exciting!

Thank you for such an amazing first year here in the Loft! Thank you to all of the talented people who made the trip and shared their wonderful music. And thank you to all of the fans who have been with us, video after video and has supported not only us, but the musicians. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Lastly, the BIGGEST thank you to my beautiful wife for all of her support and time that she devotes to keeping our children quiet! Which is NOT an easy task!
