As much as I love doing festivals, it was so nice to take a break from the chaos and paint at a private event this weekend. I love the one on one time I get with the kids and chatting it up with the adults that sit in my chair. Happy 3rd Birthday Nora! I hope your day was extra special ♥️

This little cuties mommy offered to take a video of me painting her daughter. I’m so happy it showed the typical conversation between a little and their face painter! She was SO excited to see the end result- I tried to distract her with my conversation but I could tell she was getting antsy for her mirror moment. As face painters, we have to know how to read a child and know we’re they’re “done”. Meaning not just the design, but when they’re over sitting in our chair. I quickly added some white dots and completed her look with glitter….bc everyone needs glitter. The end result was a happy girl with a beautiful personalized design! #facepaintersofinstagram #facepainterlongisland #longislandfacepainter @freebirdfestival thank you for having me! My daughter and I started volunteering at Gigis Playhouse 4 years ago teaching art to the children in our community. I swear these kids continue to surprise me with their talents and enthusiasm for ART 💜 🎨 🖌️
