Red is a bold color!!! In the west it represents love, romance and excitement. In China, red symbolizes luck, joy and happiness. Red also represents confidence and might be the way to make sure your personality is incorporated into your big day.

When done right, it can bring a vibrant and romantic vibe to your event. Here are some tips on balancing the boldness of the color to make elements of your big day play well together

1. Consider red flowers in tall glass vases
2. Incorporate white votive candles, mirror table runners or mercury glass votive holders
3. White table cloths and silver chargers are a good way to soften the look of your table settings
4. Tie the red tones into your signature drink, appetizers or dessert. (Champagne with cranberries, caprese salad or chocolate covered strawberries)

All about our Brides today!!

A perfectly planned, designed, and executed wedding just won’t have the same pop for a Bride who’s not comfortable in her dress or happy with the design. Finding the right dress can involve a big investment in time and money, in addition to a major emotional commitment.

Here are our tips to help you pick your perfect wedding dress:

* Your dress shopping squad should include people that know your style and do not select what looks good on them. 😉

* Go to a reputable bridal store with lots of options and great lighting in their showroom

* Try on many dresses even a couple of dresses you do not think would look good on you. They might surprise you.

* Consider the theme, decor and setting of the wedding (ex. Victorian themed wedding want more of a vintage style)

* Make sure you are comfortable in the dress and practice dancing in it.

* Narrow down to 3 dresses and have a dress shopping squad member take pictures of you in them

* Go home and reflect on the options before saying YES TO THE DRESS!!
