Welcome to Elope Arkansas! My name is Lisa Shoemake and I have been officiating weddings, both large and small, for over 12 years - literally hundreds of weddings!

I have decided to start focusing on small elopement weddings and “just sign the license” for couples who just want the legal part without a ceremony.

I have married couples from all walks of life. I believe that if two people love each other they should be able to get married. Period. And I am honored to help make that a realization!

I currently offer 3 “packages”:

1. JUST SIGN THE LICENSE - $25 (if signed in Faulkner County). This is a simple, no ceremony signing of the license to make the marriage legal.

2. JUST THE TWO OF US - $50 (in Faulkner County). This is a short, pre-written, but nice and romantic ceremony, with just the 3 of us there.

3. A FEW FAMILY AND FRIENDS - $75 (in Faulkner County). A brief ceremony with immediate family and friends attending. Choice of ceremonies.

* Ceremonies outside of Faulkner County may be charged an additional travel fee.

* Couples are welcome to write their on vows to each other for packages 2 and 3.

* I cover the central part of the state. I do not travel more than 50 miles from Conway. I do travel to Petit Jean and The Old Mill also.

* I am NOT a professional photographer but I’m pretty good with a cell phone! I’ll be glad to take a picture or two for you after the ceremony. No problem!
