Such a dream to design a custom tablescape for an engagement dinner at Sassetta in the iconic The Joule, Dallas We designed an elegant, modern organic table in an understated but beautiful palette of white and green, incorporating the Bride To Be's favorite flowers, hydrangea, ranunculus, baby's breath and lilies. The clients wanted to incorporate candles so we opted for submerged orchids with floating candles. Congrats to the happy couple!

Originally created for New Year's Eve, this tablescape embraces the tranquility of winter with its neutral palette while offering the sparkle befitting any celebration this winter season. Thrift store bird figurines, and dollar store plates and candlesticks, all spray painted gold, make for an easy, cohesive centerpiece when paired with votives, a garland, and a few ornaments scattered throughout.

What makes something feel "Christmas-y" Is it the color palette? The elements? I would say it's the little touches. A piece of greenery some gilded pinecones. Pink and orange is non traditional for sure but a classic lenox pattern gets an upgrade with traditional yet whimsical touches

I chose a non traditional color palette for this dreamy fall tablescape, with pretty pastels inspired by the softer, muted tones of the pumpkins. Using items I already had I didn't spend a dime!

Nothing is more timeless than blue and white.
I'm always looking for different ways to use household items to create tablescapes. Here I used a rustic wooden lazy susan as a centerpiece for a wine and cheese party tablescape. A vintage silver bowl placed on a candlestick is filled with moss balls and surrounded by bud vases and votives to create a warm and beautiful focal point for the table. I love adding beautiful details throughout the table by using smaller silver pieces as vases and votive holders and scattering them around.
There's something timeless and romantic about vintage silver. I'm always looking for new and creative ways to incorporate it into my tablescapes. For this beverage set up I stacked pieces of silver for the centerpiece and tucked flowers into them. Coordinating flowers in bud vases and tea lights in vintage silver sugar and creamer sets add to the warmth and charm. Perfect for an engagement party or bridal shower, or a special cocktail party.
Vases and Votives are a great way to create a high impact/low budget tablescape for an event. I have a collection of inexpensive bud vases that when grouped together with rich hued florals create stunning centerpieces. I love using thrifted crystal stemware with tea lights to cast a soft glow and make the table sparkle.

People often ask me what a tablescape actually is. By definition, it is an attractive, often themed arrangement of tableware and other objects on the table. I would add that it often is designed to evoke a feeling or create a mood or set a theme. Tablescapes incorporate more than just tableware (dishes, flatware, stemware), it's all the little touches that create a cohesive look and feel. Designing event tablescapes on a budget often means using items I already have in creative ways. In this nature inspired tablescape, I incorporated thrift store bird figurines that were all spray painted gold to create a cohesive theme, and then added in inexpensive plants and greenery.

Fruits and vegetables such as pears and artichokes compliment this transitional tablescape and are an inexpensive way to add beautiful color without spending a lot of money.

I simply charge an hourly rate for my services. Clients can choose to use my items for a small rental fee. I can also help clients personalize a tablescape with their own decor. There is no upcharge for items purchased for your event.
