I had a great day face painting at the "fort umpqua days" in Elkton, OR. And we are going back tomorrow from 10 to 4pm. The mullet contest is Sunday, and Brittsny is demonstrating her chainsaw carving skills. PIF Studio will be with me selling her freeze dried candy. THE BUTTERFLY PAVILLION IS OPEN! Eye swirls , spiders and deadpool were our most requested designs at Oakland Vintage Street Fair . It was like a big block party. We enjoyed, great food, music in the park, activities and shopping. I wish I had time to dress up in old time clothes and get my photo taken; maybe next year. Here are the few photos I took. Big thank you to all the behind the scene helpers and volunteers. They made this a great event.

In one week I will be having a great time at the Oakland Vintage Fair. Visit Historic Oakland, OR Face Painting and visiting other booths On Saturday , August 24th. This is a great way to say good bye to summer and Hello fall. I hope you will come by and check it out.

Update photo in temporary tattoos pens. This is after Two days a shower and many hand washings. I tried make up remover, oil and baking soda to remove it. Baking soda worked the best. You can see the middle us gone.
I'd love for my creativity to advance to this type of art some day.

I just helped my daughter PIF Studio set up for the Sutherlin Throwdown this Saturday and Sunday and it's looking good. I can't wait to smell the aroma tomorrow. Some competitors are cooking now so it's ready to go tomorrow when the event starts at 10:30 AM. We are face painting across from event center. The entire park is full of vendors. We will have our own payment system including cash or SQUARE. BBQ vendors take tokens that you purchase.

Sometimes I just want to try something new to me. I used some "tattoo pens" that i forgot I had and I played today and practiced creativity. The black was a little dried up, but I still had fun.
What. I need to try this. Has anyone ever done this trick for beating the summer heat?
We beat the heat Winston Area Independence Day -WAID 2024. They did a great job keeping us in the shade to paint faces. I brought my festival hair and waterproof glitter tattoos also. We had a spray bottle for those needing to cool off. PIF Studio painted the very popular Stich on my arm. We will be back in Winston for the melon festival in September. Stay cool!
I always look forward to face painting Winston Area Independence Day -WAID on the first Saturday in July. They work hard to raise the money for their amazing Firework show. I am letting everyone know that I am going to be set up early by (930am) to beat the heat if you want painted before the parade, or to by your festival hair. I will stay as long as my body will allow but it is suppose to be 103 by 2pm. I will have glitter tattoos that are waterproof and last up to 7 days, and festival glitter for those that want an option to face painting.
I made this festival hair for a special birthday girl! She was so happy
I made this festival hair for myself and attached it to a hair clip, then wrapped my hair around it and secured with hair pins. It was so easy to wear at the company picnic that I painted at. And it was easy to remove. Let me know in the comments what you think of this color.

We will be here to paint your faces after the parade until dark. It will be a fun day. I really hope the guy with the blackberry grilled cheese sandwich is there again.

I'm joining the Sutherlin Oregon Eagles Aerie #3508 on Saturday May 18th for their craft / yard sale. They will also have music and cotton candy.
