There isn’t a single shop in town that sells a granola that i can digest so I make my own dam mix .. and ill tell ya something for nothing, there’s ain’t anything like ! Not to mention, without all that unnecessary sugar …
She’s & (If you don’t add the rice puffs ) … it turns out different every time because I use what I’ve got … had a little pantry clean out today so there’s a lot going on here! You can have a play with the ingredients you have on hand or go buy a few of these and give it a go!

*find nuts, seeds, coconut flakes & dried fruits ..
Rolled Oats definitely if you can digest them (I can’t so I add rice puffs or quinoa flakes)

*pour all nuts and seeds into a bowl drizzle a little coconut oil, just enough to only coat them~ a few tbs of rice malt or maple syrup or honey…sprinkle a little flaked salt & give them a toss .. I leave the dried fruit & chia seeds out and add them after the roasting ..

* pour out on a lined baking tray, roast slowly on around 170• for about 15 mins or so, giving them a mix every now and then - keep an eye on it, remember you are roasting them not burning them😉

*once roasted, let them cool completely on the tray , add the dried fruit and rice puffs if desired, then transfer to a glass container or jar …

*serve with coconut yogurt & berries for a dairy free option

Get creative … you can drop the fruit and add cacao or dark chocolate chips “after” the tray has cooled down” or mix through some tahini “before you roast for a real nutty flavour .

Try not to eat it all at once 😜

There is no beef that beats Organic, Tasmanian Grass~fed cattle - it is Second to none, by far!
Just look at that clean lined marble, you can tell straight away, that beast walked free on an open pasture, exercised, and had the sun on his back while he ate Grass from weathered soil …

My Dear friends.. please take a moment for me 🙏🏼❤️
Its is unnatural for a parent to out-live their child.. For a mother to have to say goodbye to her beautiful boy due to an evil illness that he certainly didn’t deserve, there is just no understanding it. There are no amount of tears, prayers or anger that can explain “Why?”

I often find myself staring at my beautiful friend Beccy, admiring her strength, her courage, the fact she has felt the depths of hell and still manages to be the kindest, giving human being I know ..
Even after a decade of her beautiful Lachlan loosing his long and tiring battle with cancer at age 8, I still see the pain in the back of her eyes even when she’s laughing uncontrollably at something stupid I’ve just done 🙄..
She’s a warrior if ever I’ve met one.

In true Beccy form, she’s forever keeping his spirit and memory alive by once again, recruiting me, Jack & a team of legends to compete in a 9 HOUR relay for cancer in 2 weeks ! . this will no doubt be an interesting day, especially considering my non existent fitness levels right now & the characters that will be pounding that pavement along side us! But we need Help.. we are no where near reaching our goal 💰
So Please my friends, Give my bunged up knees a reason to go the full hog - even 5 bucks makes a difference to a cause like this, it truly does .. and I won’t ever forget it..
Your contribution goes towards researchers trying to eradicate this unbearable bastard illness and therefore, help someone you love one day …
