How early is too early to start planning halloween? I love Halloween and I love dressing up. Growing up I always had handmade costumes and I've loved making costumes for my kids (although a few years we've resorted to store bought costumes 🤪)

Sorry I'm late, I was standing in my own way.

Up until this year, I always believed that you needed to hide your struggles, keep that pretty smile on your face and keep moving forward. I'd tell myself: you can't slow down, you can't be sad or mad, you must keep going and worst of all, you aren't worthy! If someone asks how I'm doing? I'd say "GREAT!" Even if I wasn't.

But... do you know what that mindset does to you? It eats you, alive. It weakens you to the point where you wake up one day and you don't recognize yourself anymore. You lose motivation in areas you used to thrive. You think you have to do it all. You start comparing yourself to others. You suppress all of your feelings until you eventually blow-up at your husband because of the way he chews. (Sorry babe🙈) You are tired and overwhelmed. You lose control of your own life.

I needed help. It hasn't been easy, I'm still healing and I'm giving myself the grace to grow to be the best version of me.

And in case you're wondering, "Wait A Minute! I thought this was a balloon page? 🤔" Yes it is, but I needed a fresh start and I'm going to be more open about my journey while still continuing to spread joy through my business. I'm hoping to inspire others to be open about their journey as well. I also like to think I'm kinda funny. Stay tuned! ✌️
