Magnolia Music showcases local musical talent from the Magnolia and Interbay districts of Seattle. The inaugural event is on March 3, 2023.
Magnolia Music is a bimonthly showcase for talented musicians from Seattle's Magnolia and Interbay districts. Events are hosted at Magnolia United Methodist Church and are all ages and free. Each event will include an opportunity to give to an important charity.
And that's a wrap! Our 23-24 season of Magnolia Music Showcases ended on such a high note last night. Great performances from Amy Laybourn, Carl Christensen, and Henry Lewis Mansfield. We were able to raise $425 for Mary's Place! And it was our best-attended event yet. We'll take a break for the summer and if all goes well, we'll be back with our 3rd season of Magnolia Music Showcases in September 2024. Love and light to you all!

Magnolia Music Showcase #5 is coming in just over a week! Friday, Feb 16. At MUMC, Magnolia, Seattle. We are thrilled to be joined by local singer/songwriter, Sara Camile,, who is not only a wonderful songwriter, but is quickly becoming a vital part of the local scene. Especially important is Sara's advocacy for local LGBTQ+. Sara curates and hosts the monthly Q***r Songwriter's Showcase at The WildRose Bar.

Featured Artist #3: The Beatbox Panda
The Beatbox Panda is a nationally top-ranked beatboxer out of Los Angeles, California and currently resides in Seattle, Washington. He began his beatbox journey in 2001 and since then has won beatbox competitions around the nation. Beatbox Panda holds championship titles in Los Angeles, and recently became Seattle’s 2019 Beatbox Champion. He travels around the USA performing at various schools and colleges, while spreading a positive message about beatboxing. He has performed at historic venues such as: The Roxy, The Coliseum, The Bourbon Room, The Redcat Theater, The Broad, The Whiskey, Troubadour, Greystone Manor, and others. Featured Artist #1: Townsend's Solitaire.
Bobby Odle, a Seattle based singer-songwriter performing under the moniker Townsend’s Solitaire, is a classically trained percussionist turned folk musician. His music is primarily fingerstyle acoustic guitar paired with a single vocal line singing lyrics addressing common anxieties, loss, and a love for life in this world – all the while drenched in a somber melancholy and nostalgia.
