Late night thoughts after seeing some transphobia/homophobia online...

I felt like for years we were getting somewhere. A difference was being made. That is not how I feel anymore. I see more and more attacks on LGBTQ+ people everyday, which has sadly started happening in Belfast again.

I still hear people say "why do you even need pride?" BECAUSE OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS ARE BEING MURDERED, BEAT, PUNISHED for simply wanting to exist as their authentic self.

It's tiring feeling like you aren't welcome in the world.

I will always have your back. Always be your number one supporter. We need to keep fighting the good fight 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈
