2 YEARS OF ACID REFLUX W/ B2B

Jointly responsible for the direction of FOLD London’s sound since its inception, Voicedrone and James Newmarch have built up a unique relationship, not only as playing partners but also working side-by-side every day.

A drive to better the experience of all they lay their hands on bleeds into their playing style with the booth often sharing more in common with a boxing ring; the pair sparring back and forth, introducing their own styles whilst moving in a mutual direction that can only be learnt with time.

Voicedrone’s bass-heavy sound lays the groundwork to their sets and then shatters it, effortlessly moving between breaks, techno and jungle, each track a fully-fledged weapon testing the capabilities of sound systems to their limits.
Whilst James Newmarch counterbalances him with his playful, yet unforgiving, fast tracks that leap between techno, trance & breaks, being as infectious in their energy as they are with their positivity. A partnership that began in the darkest depths of HTBX London’s haven Grow Tottenham, has since gone on to close over 50 editions of UNFOLD, becoming as synonymous with the event as the booth in which they play.
