She discovered the genre nearly a decade ago, and it was love at first sound. Dara Dunn AKA Lady D, is an Irish/Finnish DJ, event organizer and, from the bottom of her heart a true Drum'n'Bass junglette. She discovered the genre around 6 years ago, and it was love at first sound. With an excellent sense of rhythm and endless creative ideas, Lady D wasn't content on being a mere passive listener. A

t the music scene her partner in crime is also her partner in life. With the aid of hard work and determination, she graduated from the basics to more advanced methods. Lady D has been Djing since 2019, just like the passion for DNB within her, her personal style keeps growing more and more. Her mixing approach focuses on the utilisation of effects and tight cuts with an aggressive, but joyful stage presence. In addition, Lady D is also part of a brand new label & organization, “Breaking Point DNB”, based in Tampere. She also forms another alias with her fiancé called D&J, which concentrates on event organization. Among other things, they have brought many great artists to Tampere, most notably Magnetude: a powerhouse in the DnB scene.
