Sunday was the calm after the storm and the perfect evening for the festive boat parade! An almost full moon, clear skies and flat water made it a magical evening on the water. It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Winterfest is ON! Saturday, December 14th, rain or shine, in Madeira Park. The event starts at 3PM, featuring food trucks, local vendors, Santa‘s workshop, kids crafts and activities on until 7 PM. Bar and live music throughout the evening, including carolers and dancing tunes, on until 9PM. See you there! Festive outfits encouraged! Are you coming to Winterfest?

OK, so last year we had near perfect weather… and you can’t win ‘em all! We do live on the Sunshine Coast after all… so take a cue from @rotarypenderhrb’s Father Christmas and dress accordingly. We are keeping a close eye on the weather and setting up tents and warming stations… this event is go rain or shine! The 60th annual Pender Harbour Boat Parade is a GO for Saturday December 14th ✨⛵️ please note: this event IS on Saturday, not Sunday as previously reported. 🛥️check out the lit up boats as they arrive in Madeira Park at the government dock around 4:30⚓️boats will stick around until 6:30, then relocate to Garden Bay to begin the parade ⛵️ once the parade begins they will circle back to Madeira Park so everyone at Winterfest can see them 💨 following that they will make their way through the bays and harbours✨ new participants welcome, just decorate your boat and meet at the dock!#penderharbourbc #phwinterfest #sunshinecoastbc #sunshinecoasttourism #boatparade #carolships
