Who’s ready for the July 4th All-American Celebration on the Bruce Square tonight? 🙋🏻‍♀️

Just a reminder — bring your lawn chairs or a pallet—whichever you can get up from quickly — remember Sandra Pope and I have been dubbed the Official Fireworks Coordinators — when we run, you run, right? 💥🏃🏻‍♀️

Seriously though, we have an awesome team lined up to light that fire! We have lived dangerously enough just driving the explosives to the holding cell! It takes a village to make this happen. AND, we have the privilege of celebrating — thanks to the brave men and women who continue to protect this freedom! 🇺🇸

On an additional note, Chicken Bone Fire Department will be selling hamburgers and hotdogs. And snow cones will be available for purchase.

We appreciate the City of Bruce for assisting, Bruce Fire Department, Bruce Police Department, and the guys in orange doing some heavy lifting for us!

Bring your family, your friends, your water bottle, a few dollars for a burger, and be prepared to have fun!

Y’all this is such a great time to celebrate America 🇺🇸 and experience the unity in our community at the
July 4th All-American Celebration!

Make plans now to join us in the lineup for the Boom Parade! 💥💥💥

Spruce up your bicycle, side by side, little red wagon, or even your lawn mower! 🙋🏻‍♀️ Decorate it with patriotic colors and join the lineup! Show that patriotic spirit! 🇺🇸

The Boom Parade starts at 4:30, so hope in the lineup about 4:15! 🚗💥🏎💥🚘 💥🚴‍♀️💥🚒 💥

Many years ago, Linda Cooper organized a patriotic parade in the Easley subdivision that eventually expanded, and with permission from the town, made its way to the Square! After Linda passed away, Leah McCormick arranged for the parade to be held in conjunction with the July 4th All-American Celebration in Linda’s memory. ❤️

For several years now Sandra and Rudy (long time residents of Easley subdivision and neighbors of Linda) have carried on the tradition — graciously — and maybe a tad flamboyantly 😂 — by leading the parade route! Their grandchildren can been seen carrying the “Boom” banner and our American flag! 🇺🇸💥🇺🇸

Blasts from the past! 🇺🇸💥❤️

Welcome to the July 4th All-American Celebration page! 👏👏👏

We are excited to have the plans underway to bring an awesome celebration to Bruce on Sunday, July 4th, 2021! 🙌

Please invite your friends to like this page to stay up to date on all the fun! 💥💥💥

We will be posting our sponsors on this page. As we all know, freedom isn't free, and neither are fireworks, but aren't we thankful for both? 🇺🇸

The good people of Bruce have been very generous so far — if we haven't been by to see you yet, we will soon! 🤗
