Friends, it is with deep regret that unfortunately my injuries from last year will keep us from continuing D&S Hot Dogs and Catering, LLC.

Susan and I have loved every crazy & busy minute serving you, our loyal customers.

Friends, while I continue to recover nicely from my injury, I’m still not 100%. As a result we will be hibernating for the remainder of the season.

Hi friends, just wanted to thank you all for the outpouring of love, prayers and concern over my recent accident.

Now that I am home I am sure you will not be surprised to hear that Susan is taking excellent care of me.

The punctured lung has closed and is healing well, as too are the broken ribs-but they will take longer to fully heal.

All in all I am a man blessed with an awesome wife, friends and a community that were there for me and fortunate to live in a community with outstanding First Responders.

D&S will be back in business in October!!
We look forward to seeing you then.

Good morning. Dennis usually takes care of the social media end of D & S Hot Dogs but I will be doing it for now. Dennis was in a bad backyard accident. He was pulling weeds and fell backwards landing on some rocks fracturing 4 ribs and puncturing his right lung. He has been at Yale New Haven Hospital since Tuesday. He is healing but it will take time. He is in good spirits and getting stronger every day. We ask for prayers for his quick recovery. I will send out updates as I get them. I apologize for this post not being as fancy and professional as his, but I will keep everyone up to date as I can.

We had a special visitor today at the Northford Tractor Pull!
Mark Levine has been trying to get one of our delicious Cheesesteak sandwiches for months, but we just couldn’t connect. Today we finally met.

the Guilford Fairgrounds on Thursday (6/20) from 3:00-6:30, Tractor Pull at Augur Farm 298 Forest Road, Northford on Saturday (7/22) from 10-3, and at the Durham Summer Concert Series at Allyn Brook Park on Sunday (7/23 rescheduled from 7/6) from 6-8.
