When we decided to turn something we loved into our business, we chose our name because we loved the meaning and thought it was pretty… but we had no idea that we would actually n e e d to hold onto the meaning behind it. Through every obstacle, challenge, insecurity, & stressful moment we’ve been able to remind ourselves that when we offer everything we do/ have to the Lord, He makes us victorious & takes care of every need 🌿🤍

When you’ve been working with your bride for the last 11 months and you sit down for your final timeline meeting, it gets really REAL 📆! (And there may or may not be tears when she tells you her first dance song…)

Hi everyone, I’m Alexus!! Im the newest addition to the Bay Laurel Wedding & Events team. I’m an Event Coordinator, Marketing Operations Manager, and dinner host enthusiast. I am so excited to embark on my newest journey of wedding planning & coordinating with the amazing team here at Bay Laurel! I bring 5 years of corporate event planning expertise to the table, and am so thrilled to be expanding my passion into the wedding industry. ✨ Mini bouquets: one of the few fun 2024 trends we’re seeing when it comes to florals is mini bouquets; an understated bouquet for bridesmaids and the bride os becoming popular… and will help your floral budget too!
✨ Mini cakes + lots of dessert: This isn’t entirely new, but couples are looking for unique and fun ways to serve sweets. Rolled ice cream, hot churros, or refreshing popsicles for those hot summer weddings are a few favorites!

Let’s talk send off ✨
Your send off doesn’t have to be overly complicated! But it should wrap up your perfect day in a nice pretty bow… or spark ✨
Our cold sparkler machines are the perfect way to end the night and your guests will love them! They burn for about 7-10 minutes giving you time to exit + guests time to snap some photos in front of them!
They’re also super fun to use at other moments during your day that need a little bit of a wow factor- your champagne tower or toast, first dance, grand entrance, + more! We’ve even gotten to use them at a baby gender reveal. Another added plus, most venue owners love them because they allow you to avoid the risk of fire and mess sometimes caused by traditional sparklers.

Hi hi! We’ve had a bunch of new followers over the last couple of weeks so I thought it might be time for an introduction✨
I’m Riley, co owner of Bay Laurel along with my mom (dad, grandad, my sister and the rest of our crew!)
I’m married to my high school crush (about to be 7 years married in august!!) and we have 3 sweet babes + our Scouty pup 🐶
We say all the time that we hate to be bored… so you can find us working full time (Cal as the head
golf coach at Central HS & me marketing for a local home health agency), renovating our 1960s home we bought 2 years ago, chasing our babies around, serving at church, and PLANNING WEDDINGS, parties, and other social events! Life is crazy but we love it and juggle it all by the grace of God 🤍
We’ve officially been Bay Laurel going on 3 years now, but have been planning weddings and parties for as long as I can remember!
When my sister/ cousins and I were younger, we always played “wedding planner” at my grandma’s house with her friends old wedding book full of invitation samples, linens, food choices, flowers, etc… I was always the one with the book 😉
My pretty momma is the one making all the designs and dreaming big and I’m the one who helps make it all happen from her head into real life! So if we’re at your event, you’ll still see me running around with a tight grip on my “book” 😅
We love getting to work side by side and it’s been a joy to see the Lord grow Bay Laurel and present us with so many amazing opportunities, and we’re only just getting started!

If you’re interested in being on our call list, please shoot me an email! MUST be able to be on your feet for a few hours at a time, able to lift heavy/bulky items, and be available usually after 10pm.
This is a great little side hustle & quick money 😊
2. We’re also hiring a set up team! Must be able to be on your feet for a few hours at a time, follow design plan, and be very reliable! Set up’s usually take place Saturday mornings!
