Hey everyone!

Bit of a sad/happy announcement today, we've decided that we need to take a break from Motive for a while.

Events have been getting harder and harder lately both on our mental health - trying to juggle everything, and with a baby on the way (we're both learning the limitations of pregnancy as we get further along! 😅)

The launch of the Sunday Sesh yesterday really confirmed what we had been contemplating for a little while, the fact that we need to take a break. We were both really stressed during the lead up and on the day, and are feeling massively burnt out today.

We just need to take some time to focus on ourselves, our mental health and preparing to be new parents 👨‍👩‍👦

Dnb and music will still be a big part of our lives in the meantime, as we'll never stop being Embr & Nodus.

Motive will return when we feel ready to put our hearts and souls into it again. Thank you to everyone who has supported us, it means more to us than you know ❤

Our Sunday Sesh season kicks off THIS SUNDAY, so we're putting Burgs to bed for a little while to allow us to put all of our time and energy into the Motive Sunday Sesh 😊
BURGS-N-BASS will be back mid next year.

We are so proud of the amazing talent that we've seen coming through, that we have been able to give opportunities to and have watched flourish within the scene ❤

**M:DNB Podcast update**

Some of you may have noticed that our episode uploads have slowed down recently, and this is why! 👇
We're preparing for the arrival of our little boy in a few months, and so the podcast studio has now become his room (still a work in progress) 😊

We are in the process of setting up a dedicated podcasting/mixing studio however! So we are super excited for both of those things, and the podcast will be returning next year once we've got our awesome new space set up! 🎬

🌞🍍 Motive Sunday Sesh - Season launch! 🌞🍍

It's that time of year again, Perth is starting to bless us with more and more beautiful summery days so it's time to bring back the Sunday Sesh!

Summer '19 to '20 was an absolute vibe and almost all of the Sunday Sesh's sold out, so this time round we've brought it back and decided to sesh fortnightly!

Each fortnight there will be a different theme - dressing up is not essential but damn it's fun 😜 Our launch theme is FESTIVAL! Think Coachella, Shambhala, EDC.. glitter, bright colours, floral tshirts.. whatever you would wear to a festival!
