I turn 40 tomorrow.

I'm currently back at my parents with my wife to celebrate and my Mum had got a load of newspaper articles out to show us. My first thoughts were 1) what a fabulous head of hair I had 2) I don't remember that slinky waistline?!

2009 was when (Sumo Kings) (manager at Square One) and I kicked off Club Sumo...still think it's a great name for an indie disco!

Despite us spending most our budget on glow in the dark face paint and florescent felt and fur to "decorate" the walls (New Rave was big at that time) it actually was! It was packed out! Our second (and last) event was less successful and that was it.

I look back at these early days and smile, it was 100% a learning curve for event organising... for one, I no longer waste funds 😂

It's great to be back doing what I love. Hope to see you at one of our next events 💚

£500 raised for on Saturday night 💚

As of today we've raised a staggering £17,222 for MidCheshire Mind and combined

Thanks to everyone who came down to the SOLD OUT .music show at on Saturday! 😍

We've been able to continue putting on our non for profit shows thanks to CloudRetail ☁️- they have kindly donated a significant amount of money which allows us to pay for artists, sound engineering (.lawton.9634 aka Soundbites Creative) and promoting our events - whilst maintaining our commitment to give 50% of ticket fees to MidCheshire Mind and 50% to The Granary Arts Cafe to help support this amazing independent community space.

It isn't just me TimMOTHy who work to put on these events. I have fellow volunteers (who as well as event management creates our fabulous poster artwork!) (marketing, pr and sponsorships) & (📸 and editing) and the G Squad .richards and .r_classical

£900 raised for over our 4 events for at 💚

£540 plus match funding from my employer gives us a very satisfying £900! Thanks to everyone who bought tickets and put money into the fundraising bucket. Also thanks to the artists who performed and bought into what we do .band .caw and Allie Douglas.

Moth Events is non for profit. We are glad we're able to continue what we're doing into 2025 with support from local businesses like Cloud Retail ☁️
