"April Showers is a visual artist and art instructor. April works predominantly in pen and ink, and acrylics. She merges bold graphic lines with rich colours to capture the whimsical yet dark character of her subjects. She is inspired by the internal melancholic experience and the expressions used to mask it from society. “Morgan Abenhaim, born in 1989 in Toronto, Canada, is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in the same city. Abenhaim’s artistic pursuits traverse various mediums, including painting, sculpture, and installation. Best known for their distinctive and intricate multimedia eye portraits, Abenhaim integrates acrylic paintings on wood and MDF with sculptural components, employing woodworking and molded resin techniques. Their larger-scale installations, often on painted wood and plastic, reflect a mastery of form and material.

Abenhaim’s work delves into the human iris as a focal point, offering a departure from conventional portraiture while exploring the intangible aspects of the human experience. The artist’s subject matter centers on narrowing in on the human iris as a means of dissolving traditional boundaries, inviting viewers into realms of the divine and ethereal. A pivotal project, “Organic Encounters,” exhibited at OUR Gallery in Toronto in 2017, marked the inception of the “Soulscape” series. This breakthrough project showcased Abenhaim’s technical prowess and meticulous attention to detail, laying the foundation for subsequent opportunities and deeper explorations within their current body of work.”

Growing up he was heavily influenced by the Psychedelic and Progressive Rock movement of the 1970’s, followed by Dance Music of the early 90’s such as Trance and Progressive which paved a major road to his musical tastes today. “Kiran Sethi is a self-taught visual artist who uses a variety of mixedmedia to create a dynamic body of work, specializing in texture art. She uses her interdisciplinary expertise to create large scale custom art that resides in the homes/offices of local & international clients. Her most recent endeavor is a clothing and accessories brand LADY JAGGER that’s set to launch in the summer of 2024.

She is also the Creative Director of Livingcolor Events & Creative Collective. Along with her team, she facilitates creative workshop opportunities encouraging others to expand their creative potential in innovative ways.”

“MONKYI (Julia YH) is a muralist and illustrator born and raised in Toronto, with years of experience living and creating abroad. As a natural explorer and inspired by all ranges of human life, MONKYI’s expressions are richly diverse to reflect the world around her, tied together with her use of linework and bold colours.

MONKYI has fun with imagination, concepts and connections, often with a surrealist and fantastical flair. Much of her work has elements of Chinese and overall Asian culture from which her roots are. In Toronto, she has worked with stART Toronto, Steps Public Art, Kensington BIA, Junction BIA, West Queen West BIA as well as a number of local businesses. Outside of art, FPMONKEY is an anthropology graduate and a certified Montessori teacher.“
