When Michelle + Justin booked The Meekermark, we knew the wedding was going to be absolutely stunning. This venue has the perfect Magnolia countryside backdrop and is only 30 minutes from Houston. If great photos are a must for your special day, this venue happens to be designed and built by award winning wedding photographers!

We love the open-air outdoor chapel that boasts 30-foot arches and floating glare less windows for a look that is both unique and breathtaking.

Did you know the tradition of wearing “something blue” on a wedding day dates back to Victorian England in the 19th century?! 🩵

It’s part of a rhyme: “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a sixpence in her shoe,” meant to bring the bride good luck. This color was thought to symbolize purity, love, and fidelity, adding a touch of blessing to the marriage. 💍

We love how Autumn incorporated “something blue” with a beautiful textured, blue heel. 😍🩵
