The Recording Academy has officially revealed the nominations for the 2024 GRAMMYs, which will take place Sunday, Feb. 4, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

I often get asked how to make a living and pay for . Remote work is the key as you are not able to seek or accept employment in foreign countries. So for me, I work as a remote photo editor for one of the largest photo agencies in the world.
Today, it's the 29th Annual Critics Choice Awards at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. My work is the exact same as if I were sitting backstage with the rest of the crew. Except my craft service (meals) is better‼😝
Most events hand out what we call "Tip Sheets" to the press attending the event to make it easier to identify the talent for captions. These sheets normally consist of three to five thumbnails per row in three to five rows per page. The vast majority of tip sheets are two to four pages. But after the pandemic and the strikes last summer, it seems everyone in Hollywood wants to glam it up and go out to party.
Tonight's tip sheet is -32- pages of 16 images per page. Do the math. That's over 500 people‼😲

THEY GREW UP IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA‼️🤩
Born in 1986, twin sisters Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen grew up in front of cameras, literally. They began acting, sharing the role of infant Michelle Tanner on "Full House", at the very young age of one year old. The show aired on network television from 1987 through 1995.
Known as Mary-Kate and Ashley throughout their young lives, by the time this photo was taken in 2004, they had developed the habit of Ashley posing on the left, knowing captions name people from left to right, in order to break the habit in the press.

Forget about all the controversies surrounding Tom Cruise, when it comes to spending time with the fans, he is among the very best. Look at the smile on his face here. He genuinely enjoys it!
At one premiere of his that I covered, his publicist was dutifully standing about three steps away, close enough if she was needed, but not interfering with the fan interaction.
As curtain time appeared, a junior publicist stepped up to Tom and gently touched his shoulder and said, "The movie is starting." Tom continued signing autographs without really acknowledging that he had heard.
So, poor girl, she stepped up a second time to let Tom know the movie was starting.
Tom turned abruptly towards her, said somewhat sternly, "I've seen it!" Then he turned back to the fans, reached into the crowd, grabbed somebody's cell phone, and said, "Hi, This is Tom! Who am I talking to?"
Having been around hundreds of both over the years, this is what separates stars from celebrities. THAT my friends ... is what entertainment, show business, whatever you want to call it ... is all about‼️🤩😍

MY FIRST COVER SHOT‼️🤩🎉
It's kind of funny. Over the years, I have frequently, silently, picked on photo editors at some of the magazines with thoughts like, "Why the heck did they pick THAT shot⁉️😲
Still today, and I will say this occurs more on the tabs than on higher end magazines, I will see photos out of focus, over exposed, or worse ... both combined.
I give credit to the editor at the second agency I worked with, the one -after- this photo was captured, who pounded into me; look at the image full size (100%), not full screen. "If the eyelashes aren't sharp, the photo is out of focus. Kill the shot!" I lost a lot of -almost- good photos because of that. 😒 But it made me a -MUCH- better photographer‼️🤩
In all honesty, today, I would not syndicate this photo. The original, at full size, by definition above, is out of focus. It was shot in August of 2002, while I was still with my first agency. It was a bit ironic that my first cover shot came when I had already moved on to another, larger agency.

These two roles define Keanu Reeves, who has played a great range of characters along the way. Only 10 years separate Ted 'Theodore' Logan in "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" (1989) and the character Neo in "The Matrix" (1999).
Along the way, he played such memorable roles as detective Johnny Utah in "Point Break" (1991), Jonathan Harker in "Dracula" (1992), Jack Traven in "Speed" (1994), and Kevin Lomax opposite Al Pacino in "The Devil's Advocate" (1997).
Continuing his habit of playing memorable roles, Keanu has 95 film and video credits today and is in the rarified air of a US and Canada boxoffice gross approaching the $3 billion mark.
