Despite what we say, 2020 wasn't all bad.
Don't believe me?
Well, as we say goodbye to it, Here is my fun list of Top Ten positives, that have come from the craziest year many of us have ever known.
1. Kids got half a year off School! Let's say that again, HALF A YEAR OFF SCHOOL! I was proper jealous of that.
That would have been all our dreams come true as a kid! 🤣
2. Restaurants offered huge discounts if you went there and spread Covid about a bit. Probably should remove this one from the list.🤦🏻♂️🤣
3. Many of us got to work from home and in doing so got to spend time with our children that we would never EVER have had the chance to do, were it not for this pandemic.
4. This year gave us the best excuses to not visit family members that you never wanted to spend time with in the first place; "Sorry dear, we can't visit your mum in case I accidentally kill her." You will never be able to say this and mean it, again (without repercussions).
5. You walked. Like, loads! You've never walked so much in your lives. It was the highlight of your day! 😂😂
6. You became a hero, simply by vowing to stay at home and do f*ck all. We were all heroes, for staying in. The new generations will learn about our sacrifice in history books; "Wow, they just sat their fat arses on the couch and watched Netflix or P*rnhub and they got paid to do it!"
7. As above, You got paid to do nothing! For many people the furlough scheme was just awesome. You got months of paid leave. Literally told by the government not to go to the sh*t job you hate and instead stay at home and get paid for doing nothing. Many of us would have happily done that until we retired! 😂
8. People started washing their hands. For some people you suddenly realised this was a new concept. It was good to be able to tell people to wash their hands knowing you had the full force of the government behind you when you were telling the dirty b*stards to do it. 😂🤣
9. If you are a Conspiracy theorist this has hands down been your best year ever! It's like landing the biggest fish in a competition. When we are all being controlled by Microchips you can say; "I saw this coming!"
But that's only if they program you to say it. 😂
10. Even though you can't be with your family, it has actually brought many of you closer to one another. We appreciate each other just a little bit more, in some cases a lot more, and.. we miss people. 2020 has been a lesson in not taking things we enjoy doing and people we love, for granted. That can only be a good thing. 👪👨👦👦👨👧👩👧👧
If you agree with just a few of my top ten, share it and spread some happiness! ❤
Happy New Year to you all. Stay safe and Here's to #2021 🎆🎆🎆🎆❤
