As a powerful sign of the artists' resilience during a critical time in the global cultural landscape, tis jazz orchestra presents the music of Basel-based saxophonist & composer Niko Seibold. These excerpts from his compositions 'Plumbus' and 'Fragiler Tanz' reflect on the composer's residence in pre-COVID New York City where this music has been written.

tis jazz orchestra by Niko Seibold is presented as part of the Tis Jazz Fest 2021 video sessions. The video was recorded at the legendary Atlantis Basel live music club in Schweiz. in February 2021.
