When Sharee Richings was asked to help with a wedding being planned from a distance, and at short notice, she found that C & J were like many clients who thought they wanted something short with no fuss but really didn't know what a wedding entailed. One of the many rituals you may consider using within your Ceremony is Ring Warming.
Beth will explain to your guests, how this works and the part they can take in having a “hands on” role in your BIG day! Beth will place your Wedding rings in an organza pouch to keep them safe and invite your guests to pass them around and hold them for a moment or two, and say a silent wish or blessing or prayer for you both, and for your marriage.
This is how they are “warming” your rings before you exchange them with each other, so that they have had a tactile involvement, in your Ceremony and Wedding.
Beth also explains that if someone doesn’t want to do this, then they can simply hand the rings over to the next person sitting beside them, that way ensuring no-one feels awkward if it’s not “their thing.”
