- when mowing the lawn (will give you a good tempo and make the grass greener)
- during a late night run (makes you look cool to other members of the running club)
- whilst cooking risotto (the secret is to keep the rice moving)
- when making love in the car somewhere a bit shady like an industrial estate (security will leave you alone because you got great taste in tunes)

Quick Update: With an incredibly heavy heart, we've decided to pull the plug on the Thursday night Social Sound LIVE events for now, with a view of returning again in 2022.

A massive thanks to everyone that's supported us, particularly the always wonderful Claptrap the venue family and our new resident ShootLuke, a wonderful DJ that you'll be hearing a lot more from in the future, mark my words. Also, mad respect to the other DJs and promoters out there that gave us a leg up in the early days, favours owed and shall not be forgotten! And finally, nothing but incredible love to everyone that came down to have a beer and boogie, ultimately that's the reason we do these things 🙂❤

We've had some truly fantastic evenings over the last couple of months, and I'm grateful to have met so many old friends and wonderful new faces with the same vibes and outlook as the Social Sound family - good music, creating great vibes, building a wonderful community.

The Social Sound residents will most certainly be popping up at other events over the next few months, so make sure you're following for future updates.

And with that, we draw the curtains on the first chapter. Some said starting a new midweek event, in a quiet town, during a global pandemic was a mad idea (and they were right!) but here we are, with new DJs, new members of the Social Sound family, absolutely no regrets and nothing but fantastic memories 🤩
