Our final Rustic Wine Dinner is on the calendar!
October 25th at 6:30pm ET. Menu and wine pairings will be posted tomorrow.

Five courses, five wines. An intimate, limited seating, after-hours event hosted by our winemaker
in our barrel room. The talented team of Chefs David and Stephanie will curate your culinary adventure.

We're calling this one "The Chef's Grill" as in featuring a grilled Berkshire pork chop as the star of this brand new menu.

Berkshire is heralded as the Waygu of pork. It is known for its intense, nutty, and sweet flavor and is prepared like a steak. This breed of pork is fed high-quality grains, which contributes to the richness of the meat. Chef David is preparing this iteration with cherry compote, mashed sweet potatoes, and haricots vert with pearl onions and bacon. We've decided to pair this with our 2021 Cabernet Franc, medium bodied and rustic with a deep red cherry mid palate. Absolutely can't wait for this menu!

Our popular Rustic Wine Dinner Series is back with our Butcher's Block five course menu, each paired with handcrafted small-batch Hickory Creek wines.

(Vegetarians will probably want to sit this one out as Chef David is featuring a carnivore-centric main course! Not to worry, we have more dinners in the series coming up this summer and fall!)

We had the opportunity to cook a French Bistro rehearsal dinner for our good friends on Saturday night. The staff at HCW and H2 absolutely knocked this event out of the water. Congrats Adam & Erica!

Celebrate the harvest with us at Hickory Creek this weekend! Just a few tickets left for our last in the 2023 Rustic Wine Dinner Series featuring our newly released 2021 Merlot -Carménère with main course.

Here's the Harvest Bounty course lineup from Executive Chef David Hardy:

1. Locally sourced cheese selection featuring creameries of Michiana with 2021 Gruner Veltliner (Lake Michigan Shore)

2. Butternut squash soup, crema, toasted pumpkin seeds with 2021 Dry Riesling (Columbia Valley, Washington)

3. Mixed greens, candied pecans, Granny Smith apples, blue cheese crumbles, crispy bacon with 2021 Blaufränkisch (Lake Michigan Shore)

4. Peach rubbed smoked brisket, roasted red potato and root vegetable medley with 2021 Merlot-Carménère (Lake Michigan Shore)

5. Butter pound cake, stone fruit compote, whipped cream with 2021 Traminette (Lake Michigan Shore)

Started the Rustic Wine Dinner series off with a French Bistro.

Cheese course - standard cheese course

Soup course - French onion soup- onion soup, herb crositini, cheese gratin- Chardonnay

Salad course - Niçoise salad- field greens topped with, smoked salmon,poached Yukon potatoes, green beans, tomatoes, kalamata olives, hard boiled egg-Test Pilot vinaigrette

Entree course- Coq Au Vin - Roasted half chicken in red wine with mushrooms, and pearl onions served with haricot vert and potato purée- Cab Franc

Dessert course- crème brule - crème brule with macerated berries
