Bonjour everyone 🌸

I know it’s been a long time since you’ve heard from me, lockdown has meant I had to shut down as market runs were too risky, I couldn’t possibly risk exposing myself having a child with a serious immune compromised health.

And now, here we are, life has gone back to some kind of normal so I felt I owed it to you lovely community and loyal customers to tell you what the plans are with Ile de Ré Flowers.

Well, I have bad and good news to share… the real downer is that the past lockdown really took its toll financially and unfortunately I had to make the very tough call to close my business as it is no longer a sustainable option to provide for my family.

The good news is that I will keep it as a side hustle for my loyal customers. The website www.iledereflowers.com is no longer active so if you’re desperate to get that timeless French country style arrangements, you can always get in touch with me via messenger or insta.

So for now, am going back to the big Corporate world where I spent 15 years mastering my project management skills which led me to become a proficient Event Manager for a major pharmaceutical company. Anyway, if you know or hear anyone who could use my help, hit me! Am in the process of job hunting!

I know this news is not the one you wanted to hear but providing for my family right now is the priority and sometimes in life you’ve gotta make some tough calls whether you like it or not right? Having said that, flowers will always be part of my life and if you’re really desperate for my designs, you know i will do my very best to make it happen 🌺🌾 and who knows what the future brings right? Maybe things will turn around again for Ile de Ré Flowers in the near future?

So on that note, I wish you all the very best, sweet sanity, delicious happiness and lots of blooms 🌸

Unfortunately, with the new restrictions in place and the growing numbers of Delta cases, Ile de Ré Flowers had to make the tough call to close down temporarily. Keeping my family safe for now but as soon as things calm down, we will be back! 🤞🏻🤸🏻‍♀️🤞🏻 stay safe everyone 🙏🏻

🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Bonjour everybody, hope you’re all keeping well and warm ☺️

We would like to apologize to all our lovely customers who have been waiting for Le Pop Up to re-open at the Deli Bilgola. It has been rather interesting few weeks to say the least and we are very grateful for your patience and understanding.

Due to family circumstances and other unforeseen turn of events, we have decided to close Le Pop Up over the winter period. That’s the bad news.

Now the good news is that we will take pre-orders of our very popular hand-crafted $29 posy which will be available every Friday & Saturday for pick up at the Deli or at our workshop in Avalon.

If you wish to pre-order your $29 posy please let us know ideally by Wednesday each week. You can either send us a dm on our insta & FB page or give us a call to organise pre-payment and pick up location.

Our online shop www.iledereflowers.com remains open from Wednesday til Saturday.

We are very much looking forward to re-opening Le Pop Up at the Deli in Spring again.

Winter is here ❄️ ✨

Probably one of our favourite time of the year 🥰

As a child I was always so excited to help my Mum turn our home into a magical winter wonderland with gorgeous ornaments, garlands, fairy lights and of course a home-made Winter wreath sitting on the coffee table featuring a gorgeous candle.

What a wonderful feeling it is to come back at the end of a cold day to a cozy and warm home to lift up your winter spirit don’t you think?

A nice fire, a glass of wine perhaps and why not some decorative winter magic?

Introducing our hand-crafted Winter wreath; whether you hang it on your front door or place it on a table as a centerpiece with a candle, our Winter wreath will bring you that joyful winter feel ❄️ ✨

We will be running a Winter wreath workshop where you will learn how to craft your very own wreath to take home and enjoy throughout the winter season.

We will use some wonderful native foliage as well as other seasonal floral surprises to give your wreath that magical winter feel ✨❄️

Size is approximately 40cm in diameter

Our Winter wreath floral workshop will be held on Saturday 19th June, 2pm-5pm at the Dragonfly Spiritual Spa located on the Marina in Bayview.

Cost per person is $175 and will include all floral supplies as well as herbal tea, sparkling water and snacks.

One of the many reasons why I wanted to launch my own business, besides my absolute love and adoration for flowers, was to be my own boss and work out the best work/ life balance for myself and my family. This week “life balance” will take priority and I will be looking after my family but don’t worry, Le Pop Up will be back next week on Wednesday at .bilgola 👌🏻 oh and we will also be announcing soon something rather exciting for Winter ❄️ so stay tuned! 🤸🏻‍♀️

Last week was intense to say the least with single parenting for a week (OMG that is so hard btw!!) a stint in the ER with my youngest, sickness.. well you name it! Which is why Le Pop Up was closed all week 😩

And so I didn’t have a proper chance to take the time to express our gratitude and thanks for so many of you who ordered their flowers with us on Mother’s Day, we were inundated with orders and loved every single designs we created. It was our very first Mother’s Day at Ile de Ré Flowers and we were over the moon to have the opportunity to work tirelessly all weekend to deliver our hand-crafted arrangements with that French flair that so many of you love 💙💚💜🤍💛

So from the bottom of our hearts, we want to say Merci so very much and a bientôt ☺️
