Hello friends!!! I am soooo not good at posting on socials 😳🤦🏼‍♀️ I didn’t realize it had been an entire year!! Oh my! This year has been crazy busy! 2024 has been my busiest year yet and it’s all thanks to all of you and your continued support and love. I love getting to see the years of birthday cakes, parties and events that you have so graciously let me be a part of.

What a fun weekend we had! From the hilarious “Dirty 30” (not pictured-this is a family page 😳🤣) to an adorable first birthday for an adorable boy who has been a client since the womb. Vanilla and raspberry, vanilla and strawberry, vanilla latte and even a chocolate chip cookie cake! Thank you all for your continued support and love. 💜

My sister, Stephanie Walsh, made and decorated some amazing cakes this weekend. I don’t have the best pictures but, I have a few.

Easter is quickly approaching! I will have fresh carrot cake cupcakes with a beautiful variety of cinnamons to add depth and warmth with a hint of freshly grated nutmeg. These will be topped with a cream cheese frosting. I also have vanilla cupcakes with a fresh lemon curd filling and topped with a vanilla buttercream. Both will be available for pick up tomorrow. If you are interested, comment how many you want below. It will be $20 for a dozen or $35 for 2 dozen. Only while supplies last!

Man! We haven’t posted any pictures! This is why Jenn is in charge of that🤣 But….she has been busy starting and rocking her brand new business, so…I will do a photo dump instead 😏 From October to January; scary ones, pretty ones, fun ones, funny ones…we’ve got them all! This cake wasn’t quite as “naked” as we like (that’s what he said), so we’ll call it a semi-naked cake.... who knew?! We CAN be modest!

This cake was a chocolate cake with raspberry filling, covered in vanilla buttercream with a white chocolate drizzle and gold accents.

Although the “killer” cake was fun, we really love how this turned out too. This cake had it all! This was a red velvets cake with black buttercream filling, topped with Stephanie’s signature vanilla buttercream and topped with a little blood (chocolate ganache), a few skulls (white chocolate), some black roses (fondant), and glass shards (homemade orangesicle hard candy).

Most of the time, we are sent pictures from Pinterest or multiple pictures and asked to replicate. Somethings though, We are given a color scheme and asked to be creative and “make it pretty”. While replicating is sometimes easier, we really LOVE opportunities to be creative. That’s what you see below, a WGM Original :)

I’ve actually been waiting a few months to post pictures of this cake. We were honored to be asked by Life at the Ridge magazine to make a cake to help them celebrate their first year of publishing. We were recognized for our first time in print!

Aunt Sassee, as my kids call her, surprised them with a SECOND birthday cake this year. Half chocolate and half vanilla, topped with gum balls, ring pops, and lollipops!

We have been blessed with repeat business from a family that attended the same daycare as our kids. Here are her words after the last cake.

I loved making this Out of This World cake for a special boy who turned 8 years old last week

Our eyes still well up when we get messages like the one we got from this birthday boy’s mom:

“I just wanted to say thank you. My guests said your cake was the best they ever had. My son loved it. I probably took more photos of it than I did of the kids 😂
