Tropical Rangers are the current National Champions and will be looking to defend the title. The disc will fly and we will have a champion!

Africa is coming to Kisumu Kenya
The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that a full calendar of WFDF World and Continental Championship flying disc events has been scheduled to take place in 2023.

All Africa Ultimate Championshops (AAUC) will be held from 3-7 October 2023 in Kenya’s second largest city Kisumu. The Kisumu Ultimate Frisbee Club Black Fish Ultimate- Kisumu will host the event with the support of the. All Africa Flying Disc Federation and Kenya Flying Disc Association With affordable accommodations and easy travel access for all sub-Saharan African teams, returning the event again to central Africa will hopefully enable countries such as Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda to attend with a possible first time attendance by new WFDF member Burundi.

All Africa’s continental championships were last held in South Africa in 2019 and hosted 9 teams from 4 countries.

Statement by Kenya Flying Disc Association President

I want to thank the entire Kenya ultimate community for bringing their "A" game to the 4th Edition of Lake Victoria Grass Ultimate Tournament. The level of competition is incomparable.

Congratulations to winners TROPICAL RANGERS. YOU DESERVE IT. I am always indebted to the clubs and individuals who go out of their way to start new clubs and spread ultimate. For instance from Black Fish Ultimate Kisumu to Kakamega Wolves to Tropical Rangers. In the same spirit, Let's continue to nurture more clubs across the country.

I also acknowledge the improvement shown by KEMRI and First Touch.This is the epitome of our vision for the growth of Ultimate Frisbee in Kenya. I also want thank the talented ladies and gentlemen who demonstrated the tenets of Kenya Ultimate tgat is athletism and skill during the international Friendlies with Uganda.

Finally I salute the level of organisation demonstrated by the Black Fish Ultimate under the leadership of Kimita Gathii and the patronage of Dr. John Waitumbi. Special mention to the volunteers and time keepers and Bernard Nyadida for data capture and excellent summaries. This is what needs to be emulated. Guys you make it easier to run Frisbee in Kenya.

Finally 7hills is next in September in Uganda. I challenge our team to bring the trophy back to Kenya.
