Bit of a different post from me than usual!
2.5 weeks ago I got the keys to my first commercial premises, I honestly can’t believe I’ve managed to turn it around in such a short time - I really couldn’t have done it without the all the help from my friends so thank you 🙏🏼
4 years ago during a global pandemic I was homeless, jobless, in the worst mental state I’ve ever been in, living out of a caravan (still practicing dj’ng). I’ve never felt more alone.
I’ve had so many hurdles to overcome but I’ve never given up or let anything stop me. I’ve got my own flat, I’m self employed, I’m still dj’ing and I’ve played at some absolutely huge shows!
I’m thankful for every opportunity that I’ve had, the good and bad. I wish my brother was here to see it all but I know he’s proud of me, I’m proud of me too.
I’ve also been sober and haven’t had a single cigarette since NYE 🤣
Here’s a massive f**k you to the people that doubted me and told me I wasn’t good enough 🖕🏼
