Looking back on two years ago today. 🩵

It’s funny - as time passes and things change so much (e.g. having a kid), the details of our wedding have already started to slip away. Looking back through our beautiful photos by sparked the feelings and memories of our day. I can feeeeel the quiet moments we stole together and the little breaths of calm amid a whirlwind day. The memories of marrying my best friend flood my eyes and fill my heart! Happy 2nd Anniversary! I love you . ♾️

Sometimes a certain song gets played on repeat in my mind while making a bridal bouquet. Most of the time it’s the theme song to Jurassic Park (we can dig into that nugget at a later time), but this one was different. It was sweet, cute, and filled with love.

Just got off a call with a dear client and out of our conversation I realized that I should share more of the work we have been creating over the past few months with our amazing team. I have quite the little nest-egg of content that I have been sitting on and have been weirdly too shy to share. I’m going to shake that off - starting with this epic ceremony for L & R ! I think it’s a good one to get the posting train rolling, no?

From the first phone call with Lana, I knew she and I were going to make pure wedding magic together. It was an instant connection and relaxed conversation (during which I hung up on her accidentally 3 or 4 times. She then gave me a lesson on how to properly use airpods! 😂😂). She had such a modern romantic vision that I instantly fell in love with and she gave me the reigns to run with it. Her trust means the world to me. I will absolutely miss our flower and planning conversations!

Mother’s Day hits very different this year. Bringing Nima into the world and keeping him alive and thriving has been the biggest and most important thing I have ever done in my life.

He made me a mother and has changed me forever. I can’t believe I get to be his mom. 🩵🤍🤎

I wish every day could look like this when I’m working. The reality is that it does not. 😅

Being a florist is one of the most creative and fulfilling careers I have chosen, but it can also be back-breaking and exhausting. Today is filled with breaking down a million boxes, cleaning nearly 200 candle holders, organizing a tonne of hard goods and vases…all before flowers even rest their pretty little heads on my work station. Florists actually put their blood, sweat and tears (and all their heart) into their work. It’s not all frolicking around with pretty flowers…but sometimes it is, if we are lucky. 😌 Thank you to for capturing this moment!

One of my favourite bouquets I made last year. I was 6 months pregnant and was very emotional over this shoot because the couple were being gifted some beautiful photos and a wonderful experience by the best of the best in the wedding business. It was such a special day!
