⬇️Sharing some event planner insights ⬇️
When hosting events at a hotel or venue sometimes their inventory of chairs, tables, etc. are included with your event. For example, this table and those green water goblets are from Park MGM's inventory. A typical inventory banquet table is 30'' wide by x 8' long... like the table in the picture!
Majority of rectangle table centerpieces you see from events are on a larger tables (at least 40'' wide) so it was important to me to create something to show what the smaller table looks like.
PROS smaller tables: sense of closeness, saves cost because its included in your venue rental, looks great in photos, has a smaller footprint
CONS of smaller tables: sometimes too tight of a tablescape, can't fit large centerpieces or chargers

Let’s talk about votives:
Votives are typically candles in glass holders. They can be real flame votive candles which will last 8-10 hours or a flameless battery operated candle which can last around 250+ hours.
It is clear that the type of light will be different between real flame and flameless however depending on the purpose, venue, and budget will determine which type of light to use.

An event planner always wear multiple hats! I always feel like the title “event planner” doesn’t carry the true weight of the amount of work we do. We’re the event organizers, designers, managers, problem solvers, therapists, etc. I could go on and on!
Then there’s myself... who is also a graphics designer, photographer, and social media marketing expert.
The amount of work behind this photo is something people don’t think of at first glance. I designed the welcome sign on the screen, coordinated with the photobooth company for the event, took this picture, edited it, and now it’s made it way to my feed! And I love every moment of it!😊

Real talk - I’ve always been cautious when designing events with a lot of colors. It can be tricky to create balance when there is so much going on. I personally like clean, sleek, modern designs and when my client wanted loud bright colors... I saw it as a challenge to make something cohesive without looking messy and unbalanced. I am so happy she trusted me to put everything together with my amazing team!😊
