About two years ago, you sat me, my brother, and my mom down in the living room for a family meeting. You expressed to us that you had heart problems and other issues that were affecting your health. But sitting there, you told us how much you loved us, how proud you were of us, and all the things you wanted to do with us and see us do before God called you home. Well, on July 6, 2020, God called you home. I’ve been heart broken ever since. I always looked into my future, and saw you there. At my high school graduation, seeing me off to college, seeing me march in band, graduate from there, and move on to be my most successful self with you by my side. Now I have to do it all without you. But, I know that God is working. He needed you home. Now, he needs me, Eman, Kimberly, Jay, and your wife of 24 years to keep doing his will until he is ready for us. God makes no mistake. Everyday I cry because I need you, but I’ll always be ok because you always told me to trust God’s plan. This is God’s plan for my life. You spent 17 years preparing me for this. Now, I’m ready. Thank you for being the amazing father and support system any young man could ever ask for. I love you, dad. Till we meet again❤️.
