After 12+ years of playing together in various iterations, tonight will be my last ever show with The Bright Side at Darcy's Pub - Downtown! I love these guys dearly! I've decided to focus my creative/musical output entirely on my own music. Over the past decade, I've seen a huge influx of Victoria musicians playing in cover bands. No doubt, it's great for building your skills and making some extra cash (it certainly is better than a lot of jobs!). I just think it's important not to lose sight of one's own creative output, which I believe is finite and precious. Much love to everyone who has supported us over the years. It's been a blast!
